Sanctions against Azerbaijan will have the opposite effect, we need to work with Baku, French President Emmanuel Macron said this at a press conference within the framework of the 3rd European Political Community summit held in Granada, Spain, APA reports.
"They will not allow Armenia's territory and population to be better protected. It is time for clarity and demands, support, including military support, as announced by France, but not the time for sanctions. Because it is necessary to continue the dialogue with Azerbaijan," Macron stressed.
