The EU could gradually ease sanctions against Syria provided there is tangible progress, Kaja Kallas, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission made this statement in a post on the X platform, APA reports.
"In Rome, I joined the Quint meeting to coordinate efforts for Syria's transition. With Germany, France, Italy, the UK and US, we reaffirmed the need for an inclusive government protecting all minorities," she noted.
