Discussions on the partial abolition of the visa-free regime with Georgia will begin today in Brussels at the ambassadorial level, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports citing Georgian Mtavari Arkhi TV channel.
It was reported that the foreign ministers of the EU member states will approve the decision at the end of the month.
According to the report, it is about the introduction of a visa regime for Georgian officials and holders of diplomatic passports to enter the Schengen zone. It was mentioned that the restriction will not apply to ordinary citizens.
