Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Russia of claiming the lives of 220 Ukrainian children in the invasion, saying that the free world did not justify Nazism and the killing of children for that reason, APA reports citing CNN.

“220 Ukrainian children have been killed by the Russian army since February 24. And we still do not know about everyone, because we do not have access to the temporarily occupied areas of our state. 1570 educational institutions were destroyed or damaged by bombing. “It’s a little over two months,” Zelenskyy said in a night speech.

He added that a 14-year-old boy was killed and a 17-year-old girl was injured when she was hit by shrapnel.

“What is this? For what? What did these children and the dormitory threaten the Russian state with? And so they are fighting. That is all,” Zelenskyy said.

“That is why the whole free world is united so that no one can justify Nazism, kill children or destroy peaceful cities as Russia does,” Zelenskyy said.
