New intelligence agency of European Union

Baku-APA. New intelligence agency will be formed under the European External Action Service (EEAS). New agency will be established on the basis of 3 existing intelligence bureaus, APA reports. High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton noted that appropriate offers are being prepared connected with the establishment of new structure. All necessary documents are expected to be prepared till March, 2010. Former British diplomat William Shapcott will likely lead the agency.
