The Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) field supplied around 2 billion cubic metres of associated gas to the state of Azerbaijan during the first half of 2026, APA-Economics reports, citing BP's report on its operations in Azerbaijan for the first half of 2026.

According to the report, ACG delivered an average of approximately 11 million cubic metres of associated gas per day during the first six months of the year. Most of the gas was supplied to the Sangachal Terminal, while part of the volume was delivered to SOCAR's Oil Rocks facility.

"The remainder of the associated gas produced was re-injected for reservoir pressure maintenance," the report said.

Note that part of the associated gas produced at ACG is supplied to SOCAR free of charge.

Recall that the ownership interests in ACG are as follows: BP – 30.37% (operator), AzACG (SOCAR) – 35.3%, MOL – 9.57%, Inpex – 9.31%, ExxonMobil – 6.79%, TPAO – 5.73%, and ONGC Videsh Ltd. (OVL) – 2.92%.
