"To date, 2.9 billion dollars have been allocated to the Azeri Central East project, implemented within the framework of the development of the "Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli" oil and gas fields," said Shukur Sadikhov, head of the project's mechanical handover Shukur Sadikhov, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, the total value of the projects makes up to USD 6 bln.
Shukur Sadikhov said that within the framework of the project, 85% of the scope of work has already been completed and 25 million hours of work have been done without any problems.
Bp's representative also mentioned that the first oil production in the project is planned for the first quarter of 2024.
