During the first half of this year, the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP) spent $39 million in operating expenditure and $3 million in capital expenditure in total," APA-Economics reports citing BP report on results of operations in Azerbaijan in the first half of this year.
The SCP has been operational since late 2006, transporting Shah Deniz gas to Azerbaijan, Georgia and Türkiye. The expanded section of the pipeline commenced commercial deliveries to Türkiye in June 2018 and to Europe in December 2020.
"During the first half of this year, the daily average throughput of SCP was 56,9 million cubic metres of gas per day," noted in the report.
