Oil and gas countries are moving away from these resources and considering the development of the digital economy, said Nouriel Roubini, CEO of “Roubini Macro Associates,” during his speech at the 1st Azerbaijan International Investment Forum held at Sea Breeze, APA reports.
“We must embrace the innovations of future technologies. Artificial intelligence is just one of the areas where we should invest in the future. However, not all countries can adopt new innovations. At the same time, it is necessary to move away from natural resources and develop the digital economy. We need to train the workforce to manage future technologies,” Rubini emphasized.
He touched upon Azerbaijan’s strategic location in terms of investment and noted that Azerbaijan is an attractive country for foreign investments, and the stability prevailing here indicates significant prospects for the future development of the private sector.
