In January–May 2025, Azerbaijan produced goods and provided services worth 1.517,6 billion manats in the electricity, gas, and steam production, distribution, and supply sector — a 2.4% increase compared to the same period last year, APA-Economics reports citing the State Statistical Committee.
According to the data, the volume of goods produced in the water supply, waste treatment, and processing sector amounted to 252.9 million manats, marking a 0.2% rise from the corresponding period of 2024.
For reference, Azerbaijan produced goods and services worth 3.137 billion manats in the electricity, gas, and steam sector in 2024 — a 1.7% decrease compared to 2023.
Meanwhile, in 2024, the volume of goods produced in the water supply and waste treatment sector totaled 628.4 million manats, reflecting a 2.7% year-on-year growth.
