Sustainable development, efficient use of resources, and other current issues have been discussed between Azerbaijan and the OPEC Fund for International Development, the Ministry of Economy told APA-Economics.
According to a report Minister Mikayil Jabbarov is currently on a visit to the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to attend the Annual Meeting of the Islamic Development Bank Group.
As of the Annual Meeting, a meeting was held with Abdulhamid Al-Khalifa, the President of the OPEC Fund for International Development.
The meeting highlighted the existing relations between the OPEC Fund and Azerbaijan and emphasized the importance of exploring joint opportunities to further strengthen this cooperation. The significance of the partnership within the framework of regional and international economic development goals was also noted.
The parties discussed sustainable development, efficient resource use, and other current issues, and evaluated the possibilities for joint activities within infrastructure projects.
