At the close of trading on May 14, the price of natural gas in Europe fell below $405 per 1,000 cubic meters, APA-Economics reports.
June futures on the TTF (Title Transfer Facility) index — the most liquid virtual gas hub in Europe, based in the Netherlands — were priced at $403, down 2% from the previous settlement price of $411.2.
Note that the transportation of Azerbaijani gas to Europe through the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) began on December 31, 2020.
