To date, more than 182 billion cubic meters of gas have been transported via the Southern Gas Corridor (SGC), APA-Economics reports, citing the Ministry of Energy.
Today marks the 7th anniversary of the official launch of the SGC.
The Southern Gas Corridor is a major global energy project that plays a significant role in ensuring the energy security of Europe and regional countries.
It is noted that the corridor delivers natural gas extracted within the framework of Shah Deniz Stage 2 to regional and European countries via the South Caucasus Pipeline, Trans-Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP), and Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP).
