From January to September of the current year, the volume of goods produced and services rendered in the industrial sector amounted to AZN 39.8 billion, Baku Statistics Department told APA-Economics.
Of the industrial production, 75.5% came from the mining sector, 21.4% from manufacturing, 2.3% from the production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and steam, and 0.8% from water supply, waste treatment, and processing sectors.
The non-state sector accounted for 82.6% of the industry. The share of industrial products in total production was 89.9%, while industrial services made up 10.1%.
Most of the produced goods were sent to consumers, and taking into account inventory from previous periods, industrial enterprises had stockpiles of finished products worth 494.2 million manats as of October 1, 2024.
Additionally, the warehouses of industrial enterprises held other products, acquired from other enterprises and intended for sale, worth 46.5 million manats.
