At the close of trading yesterday, the price of 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas in Europe surpassed $410, APA-Economics reports.
On May 13, the price of June futures based on the TTF index (Title Transfer Facility in the Netherlands, Europe's most liquid virtual trading hub) reached $412, which is 1.2% higher than the previous settlement price of $407.2.
Note that the transportation of Azerbaijani gas to Europe through the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) began on December 31, 2020.
