The infrastructure to be created in the Karabakh field will be connected to the existing infrastructure in the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshl" (ACG) block, BP's Executive Vice President for Production and Operations Gordon Birrell told journalists, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, the mentioned process will allow the development of the Karabakh field to begin as soon as possible:
"According to the plan, the first oil production from Karabakh will take place in 2029. Most likely, a small platform will be installed on the field, and this platform will be connected to the existing infrastructure of ACG."
