Green Agenda is being implemented as a long-term strategic goal in parallel with the Azerbaijani government's digital development and artificial intelligence policy, said Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Samir Mammadov during his speech at the "Baku Energy Forum," APA-Economics reports.
He noted that the state-owned entities included in the newly established “AZCON Holding,” including some mobile and stationary communication operators, have already begun transitioning to green energy in their activities.
"These entities have started supplying some base stations and technical tunnels with green energy. In parallel, planning is being carried out in the newly constructed G-Cloud infrastructure in accordance with green building certification principles," the deputy minister added.
