A meeting in an online format with the participation of the co-chairs of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission between the government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on economic cooperation, Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov and Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Minister for Exports at the Department for Business and Trade Malcolm Offord has been held, APA-Economics reports.
The activities of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission, including the next meeting scheduled to be held in Baku in December 2023, and issues related to bilateral energy cooperation were discussed at the meeting. It was stated that the 6th session of the Intergovernmental Commission will contribute to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation. The importance of soon finalizing the "Partnership and Cooperation Agreement" project between the two countries was also underlined at the meeting.
The sides also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
