The Azerbaijan Standardization Institute (AZSTAND) has adopted new state standards: AZS GOST 21791:2025 "MAS-30NK synthetic oil. Technical specifications", AZS GOST 23258:2025 "Plastic lubricants. Names and symbols", AZS GOST 23652:2025 "Transmission oils. Technical specifications", and AZS GOST 25821:2025 "Liquid PGV. Technical specifications", AZSTAND told APA-Economics.
The purpose of implementing these standards is to expand the production of lubricating oils and to establish their safety requirements based on unified norms and rules.
Note that the new state standards were discussed in the Technical Committee for the standardization of “Additives, lubricating oils, greases, and special fluids” (AZSTAND/TK 34) and were adopted by the Institute, after which they were included in the State Fund of Normative Documents on Standardization.
