A further shipment of petroleum products has been sent from Azerbaijan to Armenia, as fuel deliveries between the two countries continueç APA reports.
A train made up of 18 wagons carrying 979 tonnes of AI-92 grade petrol departed from Bilajari station on Friday, heading towards the Boyuk Kesik border crossing.
The cargo is expected to reach Armenia via transit through Georgia.
Earlier this month, on 9 January 2026, Azerbaijan dispatched a total of 2,698 tonnes of fuel to Armenia, including 1,742 tonnes of AI-95 petrol and 956 tonnes of diesel, transported in 48 wagons.
A previous shipment of 1,220 tonnes of AI-95 petrol was sent on 18 December.
The deliveries come amid continued regional cooperation on energy transit and logistics in the South Caucasus.
