In January-May of this year, the total value of production in the oil products manufacturing sector in Azerbaijan amounted to 2,036.1 million manat, which is a 5.2% decrease compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics.
The production of petroleum products has decreased as follows: kerosene by 0.3%, gas oil (diesel fuel) by 4.3%, petroleum bitumen by 7.1%, motor gasoline by 10.7%, petroleum coke by 12%, and lubricating oils by 45.8%.
According to the report, during the reporting period, fuel oil production in the country increased by 56.6 times, while liquefied gas production rose by 12.2%.
