Azerbaijan produced AZN 15 billion worth of oil and gas this year - TABLE

In January-May of this year, the total value of production in the mining industry in Azerbaijan amounted to 16.2 billion manat, which is 2.4% less compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, APA-Economics reports citing the monthly report of the State Statistical Committee.

According to the report, out of the total mentioned indicator, 14,854.4 million manat accounted for crude oil and natural gas production, which is 2.3% less in an annual comparison.

According to the information, the production of the main product of the sector, commercial oil, amounted to 11.4 million tons, while commercial natural gas production reached 16.2 billion cubic meters.

It is reported that during the reporting period, commercial oil production decreased by 4.9% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, while commercial gas production increased by 1.7%.
