In January-September of this year, 11,141.57 million cubic meters of carbon dioxide were produced from Azerbaijan's oil fields, which is 1.44% less than the year, the State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.
According to the report, 2,748.61 million cubic meters of carbon dioxide produced in Azerbaijan during the reporting period fell to the share of commodity products. This is 1.9% more in annual terms.
It should be recalled that in 2023, 15,085.96 million cubic meters of carbon dioxide was produced from Azerbaijan's oil fields, which is 2.2% less in annual comparison. Last year, 3,565.2 million cubic meters of carbon dioxide produced in Azerbaijan fell into the share of commodity products. This is 15.75% less in annual terms.
