The work of the Alpha platform in the Shah Deniz gas and condensate field located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea has been fully restored, Tamam Bayatli, head of the press service of BP-Azerbaijan, told journalists, APA-Economics reports.
She said that the technical problem that arose in the underwater condensate export pipeline connecting the Alpha platform with the Sangachal terminal has been fully resolved and the platform's work was restored on January 18.
Tamam Bayatli also noted that currently, production and export operations from the Alpha platform in the Shah Deniz gas and condensate field have been fully restored to the volumes that it had before the shutdown.
Recall that there was a problem in the supply of gas from Azerbaijan to Serbia and Bulgaria due to technical issues in the underwater condensate export pipeline connecting the Alpha platform with the Sangachal terminal.
