Azerbaijan expressed interest in investing in Kazakhstan's energy sector

"The oil reserves of the Republic of Kazakhstan will last the country for another 100 years," Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Almassadam Satkaliyev said, APA-Economics reports.

However, according to Almassadam Satkaliyev, it is necessary to think about the restoration of the reserves from now on.

"During the visit of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Kazakhstan, the representatives of Azerbaijani delegation have already expressed their interest in investation. They have raised new questions about the exploration and production of the hydrocarbons. We understand that based on the increasing demand for energy we must continue to spend on increasing resource base," Minister stressed.
