In January–April of this year, Azerbaijan exported 160,385.87 tons of petroleum products worth 71.93 million USD, APA-Economics reports citing its calculations based on figures published by the State Customs Committee.
The value of petroleum products exported by Azerbaijan during the reporting period decreased by 39.3%, and the volume dropped by 10.9% compared to the same period in 2023.
For reference, last year, Azerbaijan exported 537,628.46 tons of petroleum products worth 334.92 million USD. Compared to the 2023 figures, during the reporting period, the value of petroleum product exports fell by 41.5%, and the volume decreased by 41.9%.
