24.3 billion cubic meters of Azerbaijani gas have been transported to Türkiye and 28.7 billion cubic meters to Europe through the Trans-Anatolian (TANAP) and Trans-Adriatic pipelines (TAP), Azerbaijan's Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov in his article on the occasion of the Energy Workers' Day, APA reports.
The article reads that gas production in the country is forecast at 48.7 billion cubic meters and exports at 24 billion cubic meters.
According to the minister, in 2021, 8.2 billion cubic meters of gas were transported to Europe, but last year, when there was turbulence in the energy supply, gas supply increased by 40% to the highest possible level 11.4 billion cubic meters.
