Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has completed the tie-in of a new high-producing well at the offshore Guneshli field to the pipeline delivering gas to the national grid.
The well on Platform 11 produces 25 tons of condensate and 100 000 cubic meters of gas a day from 3 300 meters.
Platform 8 was installed in 1986. It is slated to drill 16 production and water injection wells in this platform.
The platform produces in total 800 tons of oil and 400 million cubic meters of gas a day.
