SOCAR president meet with Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA-Economics. SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev met with Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen who led a delegation to Baku to attend a business forum.
SOCAR said Rovnag Abdullayev underscored the company’s special role in expanding cooperation between the two countries.
According to him, partnership between SOCAR and Turkish companies are of high importance.
Recalling that SOCAR acquired a controlling stake in Turkey’s major petrochemical maker Petkim this year, he added that more than $2 billion has been invested and further investment will be made in the company next years.
Kursad Tuzmen said his Government stands ready to provide any assistance for the expansion of SOCAR’s activities in Turkey.
He stressed that Turkish companies have shown interest in cooperation in the fields such as oil-contaminated land lean-up, shipping and shipbuilding, and gas supply.
