Baku. Rashad Suleymanov–APA-Economics. President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev met with the delegation of Gaz de France-Suez Company headed by its Vice President Jean -Marie Dauger, SOCAR told APA-Economics. Abdualleyv said digging works were commenced in Yalama field with Gaz de France-Suez involvement. Jean-Marie Dauger noted that transportation of Azerbaijani gas to Europe was technically complicated process and they were ready to support SOCAR in this field.
Abdullayev stressed the attractive investment environment in Azerbaijan and SOCAR was reviewing all proposals received in this direction. He said if Gaz de France made such proposals the company would evaluate them and make appropriate decisions. Other issues were also focused at the meeting.
