PACE observation mission arrives in Azerbaijan

Baku. Victoria Dementieva – APA. PACE mission to observe the upcoming Azerbaijani presidential elections has arrived in the country. APA reports that the observation mission of 7 MPs led by Robert Walter will assess the pre-election situation and the course of election campaign.

During the visit, the guests will meet with President Ilham Aliyev, presidential candidates, representatives of opposition parties in the National Council, members of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE, CEC chairman, NGO and media representatives. The mission will make a statement on the outcomes of the visit.

The visit will end on September 13.
