New Azerbaijan Party: “Member of Musavat Party ran away taking 10 ballot papers”

YAP told APA that the representatives of presidential candidate Jamil Hasanli are accused of committing "provocations aiming to disrupt the voting process": “The representatives of presidential candidate Jamil Hasanli are attempting to disrupt the voting process that is going on normally at polling stations. Observers of the New Azerbaijan Party monitoring the voting process reported that Jamil Hasanli’s local observers at polling stations, as well as representatives of the radical forces that he is representing are committing provocations to undermine the voting process that is going on normally. Such subversive actions, that are supposedly serving to form an opinion about the occurrence of violations in the voting process, especially occur when the international observers are monitoring the polling stations.

 

The statement says that employee of “Azadlig” newspaper Khagani Aliyev prevented voters from entering and voting at polling station #29 of Jabrayil-Gubadli Constituency Election Commission #120: “The representatives observing the polling stations reported that representatives of the National Council Elchin Chalabiyev and Yusif Mammadov pretended to be media representatives by submitting forged documents and wanted to illegally observe the voting at polling stations #22 and 29 of Aghdash Constituency Election Commission #90.”

 

YAP’s statement underlines that member of Musavat Party Haji Safar Mammadov took 10 ballot papers from the polling station #19 of Jalilabad Constituency #62 and ran away. CEC has been informed about the incident, the person is currently being searched. An observer of the National Council took 4 voting papers in the polling station #2 of the Constituency #34 and doesn’t give back.

 

Chairman of APFP regional organization Talishkhan Isgandaro and APFP observer Moylam Valiyev have attempted to illegally film the voting in several constituencies (polling stations # 2, 5 and 30 of Zardab Constituency 92).

 

YAP observers said that a relevant document has been drawn up on all the irregularities.

 

The Election Headquarters of presidential candidate Jamil Hasanli has issued a statement regarding the voting process. According to the statement, Jamil Hasanli’s observers were not allowed entering the polling stations #16, 17 and 18 of the fourth Khatai Constituency #36 and polling station #30 of the first Narimanov Constituency #19.

 

Akif Shahbazov, a representative with a consultative vote, said that the fingers of several electors are not inked.

 

Member of the consultative committee of polling station #79 under Lankaran-Masalli Constituency Election Commission #75 Ibrahim Mammadov said that he was allowed sitting near the observers.

 

Member of the consultative committee of polling station #17 under Shabran-Siyazan Constituency Election Commission #54 Ramiz Hajiyev said that ballot papers were not counted by members of the Constituency Election Commission.

 

Member of the consultative committee of polling station #8 under Shabran-Siyazan Constituency Election Commission #54 Akif Shahbazov said that one voter tried to drop several ballot papers into a ballot box and an act had been made on this matter.

 

Press service of Whole Azerbaijan Popular Front Party told APA that head of elections staff of presidential candidate Gudrat Hasanguliyev Sorhab Abdullayev noted that the observers watched the elections process at over 100 constituencies: “Elections process is mainly normal and no serious law violations have been recorded, so far”.
