As you know, some officials have earlier held solemn anniversaries and birthday parties lasting for a few days. They used to invite singers from abroad. Such things are unacceptable. Therefore, I have firmly told them that I would dismiss officials acting in this way. I think that it was a lesson for them. Everyone should act normally in the society within the law. The rule of law is above all. However, our society has its bases, traditions and national values. There are rules of behavior among the old and young people. We can not violate them. We have national values protecting us as a nation for centuries. Relations among the old and young people, normal rules of conduct are the factors and evidences of our national characteristics. Therefore, we should avoid inappropriate behaviors and solemn events. Officials should be modest, serve the people and be devoted to the state and statehood."
