Azerbaijani President decrees to establish Fund of State Support for Development of Mass Media

The decree issued in accordance with the â€œConcept of state support for the development of mass media in Azerbaijan Republicâ€ confirmed â€œThe Statute of the Fund of State Support for the Development of Mass Media under President of Azerbaijan Republicâ€.

To organize the activity of the Fund of State Support for the Development of Mass Media under President of Azerbaijan Republic, the Cabinet of Ministers is commissioned to solve the issues connected with material-technical provision, determine estimate costs, payroll, number of employees and monthly salaries of the Fund within a month, ensure related allocation with the aim of state support for mass media.

Azerbaijani Presidentâ€™s Administration is commissioned and Azerbaijani Press Council is recommended to prepare proposals on the candidates for Observation Board of the Fund.

Justice Ministry is to ensure registration of the Fund within 15 days.
