Drafts on some normative legal acts will be prepared regarding Referendum Act on â€œmaking amendments and annexes to the Constitutionâ€

Baku-APA. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev issued an order on preparation of drafts on some normative legal acts allowing the Referendum Act on â€œmaking amendments and annexes to the Constitutionâ€ to come into force. APA reports that the Cabinet of Ministers must prepare drafts on certain normative legal acts regarding amendments and annexes made to the 17th, 18th, 19th, 25th, 29th, 39th, 48th, 72nd and 146th articles of the Constitution and submit them to the President within 6 months.

The Cabinet of Ministers has also been instructed to ensure coordination of the normative legal acts of proper organizations and central executive powers with the Referendum Act and to give detailed information to the President within 4 months.

The Presidentâ€™s Office has been instructed to prepare drafts of certain normative legal acts regarding amendments and annexes made to the 32nd, 50th, 67th, 71st, 75th, 84th, 96th, 101st, 108th, 109th, 125th, 129th, 131st, and 149th articles of the Constitution and submit them to the President within 4 months.

The Presidentâ€™s Office has also been instructed to submit certain draft laws on amendments and annexes made to the 17th, 25th, 32nd, 48th, 71st, 72nd, 84th, 96th, 101st, 125th, 129th, 131st, 146th and 149th articles of the Constitution to the Venice Commission.
