Some of Azerbaijani opposition organizations go to law against the CEC Chairman

Baku. Elnur Mammadliâ€“APA. Movement for Karabakh and the Republic held its next meeting on Thursday. Chairman of the Azerbaijan Democratic Party, member of the Movement, Sardar Jalaloglu told APA they discussed the problems, which initiative groups faced during the signature campaign. The members of the movement emphasized that Chairman of the Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov illegally interfered in the campaign and issued statements and decided to go to law against his actions.
The opposition parties passed decision to address the Constitutional Court and Parliament to stop the referendum on amendments and annexes to the Constitution. The movement was urged to provide subsequent activity. It was also decided to address the National Independence and Azerbaijan Peopleâ€™s Republic initiative groups to join the Movement for Karabakh and the Republic.
Musavat, Democratic, Peopleâ€™s Front, Umid, Liberal, Citizen and Development parties are represented in the movement.
