CEC Chairman appeals to voters

Panahov urged electors to be attentive while signing on referendum. To him, citizens of independent country should understand their responsibility concerning election and referendum and know who and why they sign for.
â€œReason of signatures was explained at the top of sheets. If there is any question, voters can appeal to CEC. I appeal to Azerbaijanis to be attentive in this issue,â€ he added.
To him, several Initiative Groups collected illegal signatures swindling people in Zagatalq-Balakan, Sheki and Samukh.
â€œWe have received many appeals from all regions. We condemned these actions. All citizens and bodies, who want to participate in progressive changes of Azerbaijanâ€™s life, should function according to the demands of law,â€ he added.
The referendum on annexes and amendments to the Constitution will be held on March 18.
