Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev–APA. Human Rights Commission of the Azerbaijani Parliament held its meeting on Thursday to discuss the draft amendments and annexes to the Immigration Law. Chairwoman of the commission Rabiyyat Aslanova said the law was adopted 10 years ago and it needed amendments. She noted that nearly 7 thousand migrants arrived in Azerbaijan over the past two months. The amendments and annexes to the law related particularly with their documentation. Lawmaker Fuad Muradov said the law should be reviewed once again and added that migrants were not being registered in Azerbaijan and avoiding the taxes.
