Arif Hajili: Supporters of participation in the election and boycotting it are equal in Musavat Party

Baku. Elnur Mammadli-APA. â€œSupporters of participation in the election and boycotting it are equal in Musavat Party,â€ Arif Hajili, Head of Executive Department of Musavat Party told APA
To him, boycotting the elections is increased after negative amendments to Electoral Code.
â€œI also supported participation in the elections, but I changed my mind. I thought that there would be serious changes within four months. I supported boycotting elections. I will state my opinion in the Council,â€ he said.
Sulhaddin Akbar, Head of Musavat Party Council declined to give information before meeting of the Council. To him, members of the Council should state their opinions freely.
â€œSupporters of participation in the election and boycotting it have their arguments. Supports of participation in the elections aim to ensure durability of fighting for democracy. Supporters of boycotting the elections stated that fighting was impossible in such condition. Arguments on boycotting the elections have been strengthened recently,â€ he said.
Musavat Party will pass final decision on participation in the elections at the meeting on August 2.
