YAP officials meet with Chairman of Foreign Relations Committee of Pakistani Senate

Baku. Ramil Mammadli â€“ Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary of New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ali Ahmadov has met with the delegation led by Chairman of Foreign Relations Committee of the Pakistani Senate Mushahid Huseyn Said. Ahmadov said relations between the countries had historical roots and emphasized that Pakistan was one of the first countries recognized the independence of Azerbaijan, YAP Press-Service told APA. He said Pakistan supported Azerbaijanâ€™s position on the peaceful and fair solution to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Ahmadov said Azerbaijan also supported the stability and development in Pakistan and Islamabadâ€™s position in the international arena. Said noted that the relations between the countries reached level of strategic partnership. He said both countries faced with similar problems and Pakistan showed principal position in the issue of Azerbaijanâ€™s territorial integrity. He said Pakistan recognized Armenia as an occupant country and doesnâ€™t establish any relation with this country.
