President of Azerbaijan meets with delegation of Pakistani Senate

Bakuâ€“APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met with the delegation led by Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Pakistani Senate Mushahid Huseyn Said, Press-Service of the President told APA. The Senator conveyed greetings of Pakistani President Parviz Musharraf and Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gillani to President Ilham Aliyev. He said friendly relations between our countries were comprehensively developing and fraternal relations between Azerbaijani and Pakistani peoples were strengthening. Mushahid Huseyn Said noted that the speech of the Azerbaijani President during his visit to Pakistan was welcomed with the great interest. The guest said widening of interparliamentary cooperation between our countries made its contribution to the development of bilateral relations. President Ilham Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the development of Azerbaijan-Pakistan relations in all fields and said the countries were successfully cooperating within the international organizations. The head of state emphasized that the visit of the Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Pakistani Senate to our country assumed great importance from the viewpoint of deepening of interparliamentary and bilateral relations. President Ilham Aliyev expressed gratitude for the greetings of President Parviz Musharraf and Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gillani and asked to deliver his greetings to the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan.
