No meeting of Milli Majlis Disciplinary Commission held in 2006

Milli Majlis Disciplinary Commission did not hold its meeting during 2006, the chief of the commission Agajan Abiyev told, APA reports. He said it depends on discipline of the parliamentarians.
â€œToday parliament is not like as it was in 1992-1993,â€? he said.
Touching upon the problems concerning the attendance of the parliamentarians and quorum, Abiyev noted that all these problems have been settled.
â€œWe did not hold special meeting for this. There were six-seven parliamentarians with poor attendance and I sat next to them in the sittings of the parliament and showed the attendance list to them, and they took measuresâ€? he said.
Abiyev said that most of those parliamentarians are teachers. /APA/
