Gandja – APA. President Ilham Aliyev acquainted with the reconstruction in the monument to the great Azerbaijani poet Nizami Gandjavi in the center of Gandja on May 25, President’s press service told APA. The President was told that the pedestal made of Dashkesen marble of bronze monument erected on April 30, 1949, had become old. Marble coverage of the pedestal is being renewed, modern light system installed, new seats are being put around the monument.
The reconstruction began this year and will end on June 15 – National Salvation Day.
