Azerbaijani President visits previous sites of Bina and Sadarak shopping centers

Baku â€“ APA. Azerbaijanâ€™s President Ilham Aliyev familiarized himself with the construction of road junction at the intersection of Airport, Heydar Aliyev International Airport â€“ Bilgeh settlement highway and pedestrian crossings, Presidentâ€™s press service told APA. The President was informed about the technical characteristics of the road.

It was noted that the length of the road is 19km. The main road is six-lane and secondary road is two-lane. The width of the lanes is 3.75m. The total area of the asphalt-concrete road is 822,000 sq m, asphalt-concrete cover is 270mm thick.

In order to regulate the traffic, it is planned to construct overpass at the intersection of Airport and 5 pedestrian crossings. The bridge at the intersection of Airport will be eight-lane, its length will be 127m, area 5080 sq m. Drainage system will also be constructed.

The construction will finish within 20 months.

President Ilham Aliyev gave instructions and recommendations in connection with high-quality construction.
