â€œHeydar Aliyev ideas: development path of Azerbaijan in 21st centuryâ€ conference takes place - <font color=red>UPDATED </font>

Baku. Elnur Mammadli â€“ APA. A conference entitled â€œHeydar Aliyev ideas: development path of Azerbaijan in 21st centuryâ€ was held in Gulustan Palace, Baku on Thursday on the initiative of New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) on the occasion of 86th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev. The participants visited the Heydar Aliyevâ€™s memorial in the Alley of Honor before the conference, APA reports. Members of the parliament, ministers and other government officials attended the event.

Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ali Ahmadov delivered speech â€œThe ideas led Azerbaijan to the development: Heydar Aliyevâ€™s sustainable, stable and durable development concept in the contemporary phaseâ€. Ahmadov said the personalities and ideas laid the foundation of progress of the peoples and countries. He said as distinguished from the peoples seeking the golden age of their history in the past, Azerbaijan has a period of real renaissance in its modern history.

Chairman of the Milli Mejlis Committee for Security and Defense Affairs Ziyafat Asgarov made a report â€œThe Constitution of Azerbaijan Republic in the contemporary phaseâ€. He said Heydar Aliyev was a founder of national Constitution and ideas of the development of state were described in this document.

Member of the YAP Political Council Eldar Ibrahimov, Parliamentâ€™s committee chairmen Samad Seyidov and Nizami Jafarov also delivered speeches on the reforms in Azerbaijan, foreign policy concept and studies of Azerbaijani and Heydar Aliyev ideas.

After the plenary meeting, the conference participants held section meetings. The first section held discussions on the subject â€œHeydar Aliyev and contemporary history of Azerbaijanâ€, the second section â€“ â€œHeydar Aliyev â€“ Great reformerâ€, the third section â€“ â€œThe successful development of great reformsâ€.
