Civil Movement for Karabakh and Republic holds meeting

Baku. Elnur Mammadli â€“ APA. The members of the Civil Movement for Karabakh and Republic have today held a meeting, the movementâ€™s press service told APA. The meeting was held in the office of Musavat Party. A number of regional issues, Prague summit on the European Unionâ€™s Eastern partnership initiative were discussed at the meeting. The leaders of the parties attending the meeting appreciated the initiative and said democracy and human rights should be priority in the process of partnership.

The parties of the Civil Movement appreciated that Azerbaijanâ€™s territorial integrity was supported in the final resolution adopted at the two recent summits of NATO, and NATO Secretary Generalâ€™s recent statement. The movement offered Azerbaijani government to make official appeal for admission to NATO.

The bloody incident that occurred in Azerbaijan State Oil Academy on April 30 was also discussed at the meeting.
The participants were dissatisfied that TV channels ignored the incident and continued broadcasting entertaining programs.
