Azerbaijan’s Culture Minister met Algerian ambassador

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture Anar Karimov has met with Algerian Ambassador Abdeluahab Osman, Culture Ministry told APA.

Cooperation on different fields of culture and future perspectives has been discussed between the two states.

Minister Anar Karimov stressed the significance of the implementation of relevant measures for the expansion of cooperation.

Informing the Ambassador about the importance of the International Nizami Ganjavi Forum, which will be held in Baku in November, Anar Karimov invited the Algerian delegation to attend this event.

Azerbaijani Minister highlighted the mutual successful cooperation within the framework of the Baku Process launched in 2008 by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, The World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue traditionally held since 2011, Peace for Culture Global Call (Peace4Culture) held with the initiative of the Ministry of Culture.

A.Karimov noted that the main purpose of the call is the revitalization of the cultural infrastructure in the liberated territories of countries during the post-conflict period and contribute continuous peace for returning national-spiritual values back to these lands.

Showing his gratitude for the sincere welcome, Ambassador A. Osman expressed his contentment with the joint cooperation.

The meeting continued with the discussion, which is of interest to the parties.
