Yemen's Houthi forces struck a Saudi Arabian Typhoon fighter jet over the country's northern Saada province with a surface-to-air missile, military spokesperson Yahya Saree said, APA reports.
According to the statement, the aircraft had taken off from Saudi Arabia's Taif air base before being directly hit by the missile.
The Houthis said the jet was at risk of crashing but did not confirm that it had been brought down.
