Gabala. Shahnezer Bashirov – APA. On August 21, evening of mugham was held within the framework of the International Music Festival in Gabala supported by Heydar Aliyev Foundation and organized by Culture and Tourism Ministry and Azerbaijani Union of Music Figures, APA reports. Soloists of Academic Opera and Ballet Theater Mansum Ibrahimov and Aygun Bayramova performed in the mugham evening. They were accompanied by Elchin Hashimov (tar) and Elnur Ahmadov (kamancha).
Famous singers performed Azerbaijani mughams, folk songs and songs written by composers.
Solemn closing ceremony of the International Music Festival will be held today. Clarinet duo Daniel and Alexander Gurfinkel, tenor Vyacheslav Vaykorovski, pianist Boris Berezovski will perform accompanied by Raanana Symphonic Orchestra.
Dmitri Yablonski will conduct the concert.
