International Music Festival and Piano Competition to be held in Gabala

Baku. Elnur Mammadli â€“ APA. International Music Festival and Piano Competition will be held in Gabala with the support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Press service of the foundation told APA that a number of famous musicians, young talents from 15 countries will participate in the competition. The competition will begin on August 13 and last till August 23. Along with the concerts of famous musicians, young pianists will compete within the framework of the festival, world-famous musicians will give master classes.

Ra’anana Symphonic Orchestra of Israel, Azerbaijan State Choir will perform the works by Azerbaijani, Russian and European composers in the solemn opening of the concert. One day of the festival will be devoted to Muslum Magomayev. Clarinet duo Daniel and Alexander Gurfinkel, tenor Vyacheslav Vaykorovski, pianist Boris Berezovski and conductor Dmitri Yablonski will perform in the solemn closing ceremony of the festival.
